I bought two of these for four of Our Grands. I think they will have a fun time with it. Also I Truly Love LOVE Melissa and Doug's huge selection of Toys. I would say out of all the Grands preaents, zOut of All the Christmas presents that i bought, I would say that 75% of the gifts was Melissa & Doug Toys.

Kids still love puzzles

My grandson has the cube puzzle or transportation items and loves it. This is a gift for Christmas. I don't think he's as into animals as much as cars and trucks, but there are only so many choices. I found that his other puzzle was good because it had the frame to stay in and he would put it away on his shelf. He would begin his puzzle making by putting all of the colored edges out on the table. Of course that wasn't all of the pieces. He still had to find the middle pieces, but the fact that they had predominating colors in each puzzle allowed him to find those. He just did it last. Those outlined edges helped in putting the puzzle together as well. He loves the sense of accomplishment when he's finished one. While he is very much into computer table games, there is nothing quite like the feel of putting the pieces in their places by hand. If you're worried abut this being too old-fashioned for your youngster, don't be. There's a place for both things in their lives.

Challenging

had this in our classroom before and replaced with this exact one, since time/sun/use faded the other. This is challenging for young hands and is great for children who love puzzles or need something 'alone' for them to work on for extended times.

Highly recommend this puzzle!

I got this for my recently turned 3 year olds birthday and she really loves it now. It was one of the toys that didnt get played with right away but now it has become a favorite quiet time activity and she is really getting the hang of it. I also love that it is blocks that are wooden and sturdy instead of cardboard pieces that dont quite fit together.She always wants to do every animal when we do it so it lasts for quite some time before we move on to something else. I am really glad I bought this puzzle, highly recommend!

AWESOME 6 IN 1 PUZZLE

Love Melissa & Doug toys, quality is always great. This is an awesome set since its 6 puzzles in one. Easy for small fingers to handle, and I love that it's a space saver...instead of having 6 separate puzzles we have all 6 in 1!

Super cute! Perfect size.

I purchased this as a gift so I haven’t seen it opened yet but they seem to have really liked them. I thought they would be larger but they were still cute regardless of size. They’re actually the perfect size blocks for tiny hands. After purchasing the two pack I found one for much cheaper at marshals and picked it up for my sons Easter basket. I hope they’re just as cute and durable when opened.

Tons of fun

My toddler loves this puzzle he’s not quite at the age where he can figure out putting the pictures together but he really likes the colors on the blocks and seeing the animals when we build it together. He stacks the blocks and plays with them all the time. We love the quality that you get from Melissa and Doug.

Love the multiple puzzles in one idea!!!

Bought this set of puzzles/blocks for our three year old niece. She loves it and began playing with it immediately. She isn't exactly ready to do them by herself, but with help from an adult she can do half of it by herself. We were happy how excited she was that she could dump the blocks off the board and start over on a new animal when she got frustrated with the one she was on and look at the pictures to immediately decide which animal to do next. Also, we love that when she is sick of doing the puzzles she can just stack the blocks on the board. LOVE the big block size too, because our nephew is only one and when he is right beside his sister playing he takes everything she has in front of her and with these blocks we don't have to worry about if the blocks get put in his mouth.

Six Puzzles for the Price (and Space) of One

My three-year-old granddaughter absolutely loves these six puzzles in one. She likes to choose which animal she will be making, and the grownups use them to teach her patterns (“let’s start by finding all the red-checked pieces”) and talk about the animals. When she is feeling particularly frisky, she likes to demonstrate putting them together outside the box. When she gets bored, she uses them as blocks. The colors are bright, and the quality and durability of the blocks are excellent.

Several sided puzzle for the win

This puzzle is great! It combines several different puzzles in one. It features a cow, duck, pig, horse and sheep. It’s a good challenge for little ones. I’d buy again. Happy toddler = happy mama.
