Perfect size for a (supervised) toddler!
My son started using this when he was about 17 months old and he learned right away to keep one hand back when using it. He loves helping out in the kitchen and helping to prepare his own good. He has used it to cut watermelon, bananas, cooked carrots, and a few other things. Perfect size for his little hands!!

Great for toddlers.
I bought this product for my 4 year old because she likes to help me prep for dinner. It was recommended by someone. I love it because it’s safe and I don’t have to worry about cutting any fingers. It was sharp enough to cut peppers, apples (All we have tried so far). I definitely recommend for anyone with a little one who’s interested in helping with cooking.

Perfect for little hands
In trying to create a kid-friendly Montessori style kitchen-environment for my tot, I bought this based on the "How We Montessori" suggestion. I love it and feel good about my two year old using it. She can hold it easily and finds joy in truly being able to chop things herself. Although she has not got precision down, it allows her to comfortably hold and use without fear of nipping her fingers (within reason...still takes some guidance).

A Great Introductory Knife for a Younger Child
We used this knife for my 3 year old's outdoor preschool so the kids could help in the preparation of soup. 2 and 3 year olds were able to successfully and safely chop up cabbage, broccoli, onions and potatoes with this knife. They really enjoyed being immersed in the cooking experience and we had so much fun watching them. I immediately bought one for my budding chef and we have really enjoyed prepping food together. She loves that she can do it "my by myself" :-] Also just a disclaimer, you should always be standing right next to your child and instructing them while using any utensils in the kitchen. There is always a potential to hurt themselves, especially when unsupervised.

Joie Wavy Chopper ...Wonderful !!!
I purchased the Joie Wavy Chopper to make pickles. It works great.... It is easy to handle and is very sharp... therefore I would NOT recommend this for children to use, without close adult supervision. It does appear larger than it is in the photo... but it is perfect for what I need. The blade height is 40mm at the short end and 50mm at the tall end....and the blade measures 75mm across . I cut up 2 lbs of Kirby cucumbers with it and it gave professional results. It seems to be made well and I believe it will last awhile... and the price was right ! I Love it !

Perfect for little hands to help out in the kitchen.
These are perfect for little hands to help out in the kitchen. Great for the Montassori household or any parent who want to let their children help in the kitchen. You'd be surprised what the little ones do if you just show them how: I let my little one chop vegetables, fruit, sandwiches, etc. and she's just turned 2.5. She peels hard boiled eggs, chops lettuce for tacos, measure and pour, mixes, etc. She loves to cook and help in the kitchen and this let's her be a part of the process.

Seem to be of good materials & design to chop
2019 Oct All looks good. I was searching for several of these to supply my child's classroom as the kids chop at least one fruit or vegetable each day. Also bought two for at home, child & parent time during dinner prep. This "joe" branded item looks legit, though it's hard to tell now-a-days with Amazon not taking responsibility to vet their distributors, the distributors themselves able to hide behind minimally informative company "brand" pages. I will return to report integrity of the item in the future.

Great! Make veggies look lovely & appetizing!
Love this simple tool. Makes carrots and zuccini (and other produce, but I haven't tried others) look so lovely and appetizing with such little effort. Note: After washing, water can get trapped under the handle so thoroughly rinse and shake it out then air dry overnight. Came with a safety blade cover for storage.

Smal sized. so, not for large hands.
This will work for me since my hands are smaller to medium sized for a woman. My husbands large hands would make this too clumsy for him. We do have the large one we ordered here from Pampered chef and it works great. This is just a small version. Great for cutting cheese and and chopping veggies. Haven't tried french fries yet, but I think this will work great.

Good for BLW
We have been using this for Baby Led Weaning with our infant. We chop slippery fruits and vegetables with it so it’s easier for her to grip. We love it! I have been able to chop raw sweet potato with it. We have only had it a few weeks, so I’m not sure how sharp it will be after more use, but I’m happy with it now.
